Backround Chrissy syntyi Holvi-15 nimisessä luolassa Daimalkon pinnan alla. Laboratorioanalyytikon työ Hirviöiden tunnistamis- ja torjuntavirastossa tarkoitti usein pitkiä ylitöitä kolossien jäänteitä tutkiessa -mikä on kuulemma tärkeää että evakuointivaroitukset ehditään antamaan ajoissa- ja vaikka luola olikin teknisesti hyvin varusteltu, vedenpuhdistusjärjestelmän mikropiirin ylikuumentuminen teki normaalista elämästä sietämätöntä eivätkä valitukset luolan johtajalle auttaneet. Hän päätti lähteä parin muun damain mukana Absalomin asemalle, jossa Tähdenetsijöiden järjestö etsi peruskurssilleen osallistujia erilaisista taustoista.
