Megacelebrity Avor is famous enough that it takes a DC 5 Culture check to recognize his name and a DC 10 Culture check for someone to recognize him out of context from his appearance alone. Among those who know something about medical practicioners, he has built up both fans and detractors due to his celebrity. If Avor is looking for a generic person for a generic task, he can almost always find one who's a fan and whose attitude starts as friendly or helpful to him; this takes 2d4 hours.
Deflect Projectiles When he would be hit by a ranged attack from a weapon or spell that deals energy or kinetic damage, Avor can spend 1 Resolve Point as a reaction to make an attack roll with a nonarchaic melee weapon that deals the same general category of damage (energy or kientic) with a +5 bonus. If his attack roll is higher than the attack roll that hit him, he deflects the attack with his weapon, and it misses. This doesn't work against area attacks, even against area attacks that have attack rolls like blast weapons, and Avor can't use this reaction if he isn't capable of making an attack with an appropriate weapon.
Don't Quit (Ex) (mind-affecting, sense-dependent) As a standard action, Avor can signal a single ally within 60 feet. That ally ignores one condition of Avor's choice until the start of Avor's next turn, chosen from the following list: confused, cowering, dazed, exhausted, fascinated, fatigued, frightened, nauseated, panicked, paralyzed, shaken, sickened, staggered, and stunned. The condition is merely suppressed, not removed, but if Avor spends 1 Resolve Point, he can remove the condition entirely instead of suppressing it. Avor can't remove a condition with a permanent duration in this way; if he attempts to do so, his attempt fails, but he doesn't lose the Resolve Point.
Expert Attack (Ex) As a move action, Avor can spend 2 Resolve Points to add his bonus from expertise to his next attack roll before the end of his turn.
Explosive rounds Any extra damage from a critical with these rounds is treated as fire damage, and the weapon deals half damage to targets that take full damage from energy attacks but no damage from kinetic attacks (mainly incorporeal creatures). Explosive rounds count as having the explode special property against swarms.
Improved Get 'Em (Ex) (language-dependent, mind-affecting, sense-dependent) As a standard action, Avor can choose one enemy within 60 feet and make a single attack against it. Until the start of his next turn, him and his allies gain a +2 morale bonus to attack rolls made against that enemy. The bonus persists even if the enemy moves beyond 60 feet or out of line of sight or hearing. If Avor spends 1 RP, this bonus applies to attack rolls and damage rolls against all enemies within 60 feet. Avor can use this ability as a move action without making an attack himself, if necessary.
Improved Hurry (Ex) (mind-affecting, sense-dependent) As a move action, Avor can grant a single move action to an ally within 60 feet. The ally can use that move action during her next turn to take a guarded step, move up to her speed, or draw or sheathe a weapon. The ally can use her extra move action in between her other actions, and she can even use it before or after a full action. If Avor spends 1 Resolve Point and uses this ability as a standard action, he can grant a standard action instead of a move actoin. A character can only gain one extra action from this ability in a single round.
Inspiring Boost (Ex) (language-dependent, mind-affecting, sense-dependent) As a standard action, Avor can signal an ally within 30 feet who has taken damage from any attack made by a significant enemy at any point after his last turn ended. That ally regains 28 Stamina Points (40 if Avor expends one RP). Once an ally has benefitted, that ally can't again gain the benefits of Avor's inspiring boost until the ally takes a 10-minute rest to recover Stamina Points.
Sniper's Aim (Ex) When Avor makes a ranged attack against a target with cover, he reduces the AC bonus from cover by 2. This doesn't apply against total cover.


Avor Stelek on ylpeä Akitonin poika vuosimallia 277. Avorilta vei aikaa koulia ruumiinsa toimimaan taas siedettävällä tavalla Absalomin kolminkertaisessa painovoimassa, mutta hän kieltäytyi jääräpäisesti kyberneettisistä istutteista tai voimahaarniskoista. Hän kehitti myös mieltään. Kiehtovinta oli lääketiede, ja Avor palveli lääkärinä ja kenttätutkijana Liittomaailmojen alueella laajentaakseen maailmankuvaansa. Avor Stelek on ryhdikäs ja pitkä punaihoinen mies jota hyväntahtoinen voisi kuvailla enemmän jänteväksi kuin laihaksi. Avaruusaluksissa hän on tähän asti istunut visusti tiedeupseerin pallilla, mutta joutui hiljattain lentämään tiiliskivellä. On kunnia joutua Aamutähden huudon kohteeksi, ja kyseisessä tapauksessa se oli lähes ainoa tapa pärjätä.

Hiljattain Avor pyrki Tähdenetsijöiden Ensimmäiseksi Etsijäksi keskittyen yrityksiin palauttaa reissussa rähjääntyneet tai ongelmiin joutuneet agentit toimintakuntoon ja tuoda kadonneet ja kaatuneet takaisin kotiin. Häviö kisassa ei maata kaada. Avor jatkaa nykyisten ja uusien agenttien kouluttamista ja paikkaamista, ja pyrkii puolustamaan näitä muiden tehtäviensä ohella.
